Nice post, Janice/MOTL. There is something very cool about riding down the road on 2 wheels. Of all the many things I've done and/or am involved in, being a scooter rider is one of my favorites!

However, I'm not camping in the mud ever again.

Sorry to hear that you are joining the ranks of "motelers". We out at Camp "West -Two-Rivers-Right-Through-Your-Tent" will miss you. But even I understand, given your last campsite. Seriously, who wouldn't want their own private running water in their tent? I've got a funny feeling that Guinea may make West Two Rivers seem like paradise by comparison, though Hang in there and keep your sense of humor!

Besides, if this next tent I am buying don't fit the bill, heck I will be joining you at the Pine View, too! There is alot to be said for comfort, ease, and simplicity. Besides, if you squeeze enough people into the room - it gets to be much more affordable!

Yeah, I see from the PM you sent me after I posted my reply that you are actually "Trailer Camping." Nice rig and I hope it does the trinck for you. I will be interested in talking to you regarding how that trailer/camper tows and how the bike handles the load. The Maj at 400 cc might have some trouble, but I imagine that your Burgy at 650 should be fine, as long as you are not at serious altitudes. Either way, I am glad that you have found a way to be mud-free! I second that emotion - NMCITM!!! I just purchased a new tent myself- the old one was getting worn, as well as too small for those times when you are tent-bound due to rain- which seems to be a recurring thing for e the IRSSR and the MN/WI area in general. And I am getting too generously proportioned and aged to change clothes lying down any more!
